Robert Pattinson is clearly enjoying his time working alongside Zendaya, as the two actors are set to appear together in not one, but three upcoming films. Speaking about their collaborations, Pattinson had nothing but warm praise for his co star, calling the experience surreal and genuinely enjoyable.
“So nice, she’s great. I really, really like her,” Pattinson said when asked about Zendaya. The actors are both part of Denis Villeneuve’s highly anticipated Dune Part Three, and they also star together in two films, The Drama and The Odyssey, making them one of the most talked about on screen pairings right now.
Recalling their time filming Dune, Pattinson shared a funny moment from their first day shooting together in the desert. “Being out in the desert shooting Dune, it’s weird,” he said. “The first thing we shot together out in the desert, I’m like, oh, we’re like in Dune.” Zendaya’s response quickly grounded the moment. “Yeah, we’re doing the Dune movie,” she told him.
Pattinson also praised Zendaya’s work across all their shared projects, highlighting her range and screen presence. While he hasn’t yet seen her full performance in The Odyssey, he mentioned catching glimpses through photos and brief interactions on set. “I just saw her pictures and we saw each other in passing,” he explained.
Even so, Pattinson made it clear that Zendaya leaves a strong impression in every project she’s part of. “She’s incredible in The Drama as well and all of them,” he added.
With Dune Part Three, The Drama, and The Odyssey all on the horizon, audiences will soon see Pattinson and Zendaya share the screen multiple times. If his comments are anything to go by, their collaborations promise to be just as compelling behind the scenes as they are on screen.
