Priyanka and her husband, singer and actor Nick Jonas, welcomed their daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas in January 2022 through surrogacy. Malti Marie was born prematurely and had to spend more than 100 days in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), a time that the couple has described as emotionally challenging.
