Smriti Irani’s Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 To End? Official Statement Released

Makers of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 deny rumours of the show ending and confirm there is no plan to shut it down anytime soon.

Ektaa Kapoor has been known for creating television shows that attract a large number of viewers. Over the years, many of her daily soaps have become popular among audiences. Recently, there has been discussion around her show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 and its future.

The show returned last year after a long gap of 17 years and brought back well known characters along with new faces. At the same time, a spin off titled Kyunki Rishton Ke Bhi Roop Badallte Hain was also introduced. This led to speculation that the main show might be coming to an end and would be replaced by the spin off.

However, the makers have now addressed these rumours and clarified the situation. Star Plus released an official statement to clear any confusion. The statement said, “We have noticed some media reports that are circulating stating that Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi Season 2 is shutting down and getting replaced with Kyunki Rishton Ke Bhi Roop Badallte Hain. We would like to state that these reports are baseless; we are not shutting down Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi Season 2 and there is no end date for the show as yet.”

The makers also shared this message on social media and wrote, “OFFICIAL STATEMENT #KyunkiSaasBhiKabhiBahuThi, roz raat 10:30 baje sirf #StarPlus aur kabhi bhi #JioHotstar par.” This confirmed that the show will continue as usual.

After this clarification, many fans reacted online. Some viewers expressed relief that the show is not ending. One fan wrote, “We want to see Tulsi and mihir together.” Another said, “Both the Kyunki 2 and its spinoff KRKBRBH are interesting…I am enjoying both of them.” Another comment read, “We are missing Tulsi ji but it is also true that other cast is also giving their best.”

The return of the show has combined old and new characters. Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay are back in their well known roles as Tulsi and Mihir. Along with them, actors like Rohit Suchanti, Tanisha Mehta, Shagun Sharma, and Aman Gandhi are playing the younger generation characters.

The spin off show focuses on different characters. It tells the story of Angad and Vrinda, played by Rohit Suchanti and Tanisha Mehta.

Overall, the clarification from the makers has put an end to the rumours. The main show is not going off air, and both the original and the spin off will continue to run for viewers.
