Rihanna Wins Hearts With Simple Hindi Word At Mumbai Event

Rihanna attends Fenty Beauty launch in Mumbai, says “Shukriya” to fans, and her videos from the event quickly go viral across social media platforms.

Global singer and businesswoman Rihanna recently attended an event in Mumbai to launch her cosmetic brand Fenty Beauty. Videos and photos from the event quickly spread on social media, especially one moment where she interacted with fans in Hindi.

In a viral clip, Rihanna stepped out briefly and asked people around her, “How do you say thank you in Hindi?” After someone helped her, she came back and said, “Shukriya!” This simple gesture received a strong and positive reaction from fans present at the event.

During her interaction with fans, Rihanna wore a bold monochrome outfit in a chartreuse shade. The look included a flowing, high neck, full sleeve top paired with a matching flared leather skirt. The outfit was from the Mugler Fall 2026 collection and stood out because of its bright color and structured design.

For the after party, Rihanna changed into a black fit and flare jersey dress by Alaia. The dress featured a high neck, full sleeves and V shaped crocodile leather cut outs, giving it a modern and sharp look. She styled the outfit with multiple diamond rings and statement ear cuffs. She also wore a diamond hathphool designed by Manish Malhotra, adding a traditional Indian touch to her overall appearance.

Another video from the event showed Rihanna smiling and posing with a photographer on the red carpet. Her full appearance at the launch, including the pop up event, after party and fan interaction, gained a lot of attention online.

Earlier, Rihanna had spoken about bringing Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin to India. A press statement read, “Bringing Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin to over 50 stores across 16 cities in India means so much to me. It has always been about making sure everyone, everywhere, feels seen, celebrated and confident in their skin. Now, we are making it easier for people to experience our products, and we are just getting started.”

Rihanna started her beauty brand in 2017 with a focus on inclusivity and a wide range of shades. She had also visited India earlier in 2024, when she attended the pre wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant.
