Actor and model Josh Kloss has once again spoken about allegations he made earlier against singer Katy Perry. He said he has been dealing with what he described as “silent trauma” since an alleged incident that he claims happened nearly 14 years ago.
In an interview, Kloss said, “It’s hard to bring up something that seems irrelevant to a lot of people.” He had first shared these claims publicly in August 2019 through social media. According to him, he decided to speak again after actress Ruby Rose made separate allegations against Perry. Kloss said it felt “important” for him to be “brave” and share his experience again, adding, “The world can judge me, you know?”
Kloss had worked with Perry in the music video for her song Teenage Dream, which was filmed in 2010. He said they got along well during the shoot. A couple of years later, he claimed he attended a birthday party for Johnny Wujek, who has worked as Perry’s costume designer.
According to Kloss, when he arrived at the party with a friend, Perry greeted him outside the venue. He alleged that during this moment, she pulled down his pants and underwear in front of others. He said this left him feeling shocked and embarrassed. He had earlier written, “Can you imagine how pathetic and embarrassed I felt?”
In the recent interview, Kloss said he “freaked out” at the time and claimed Perry laughed. He also clarified that he did not see the incident as a joke or prank. He explained that even such actions can be humiliating, especially when they happen in public.
At the time when he first made the claims, Johnny Wujek denied them and said, “This is such bulls–t. Katy would never do something like that.” Jewelry designer Marsha Molinari also reacted, calling Kloss an “obsessed” fan.
Kloss admitted that he may have had a crush on Perry earlier, which made the situation confusing for him. He said that over time, he understood the incident differently after thinking about it more deeply.
Perry has not directly responded to Kloss’ claims. However, in a past interview, she spoke generally about similar allegations and said, “I think we live in a world where anyone can say anything.” She added that she prefers not to comment on every claim made about her.
Recently, Ruby Rose also made allegations against Perry, which the singer’s representatives have strongly denied, calling them false. Authorities in Australia are currently looking into those claims.
