Mukesh Khanna, best known for playing the iconic superhero in Shaktimaan, has always been known for speaking his mind. Even at 67, he continues to share his thoughts openly about life, relationships, and marriage. In a recent interview, he explained why he never got married and what he truly believes about love and commitment.
Mukesh made it clear that even though he has never married, he strongly believes in the idea of marriage. He said many people think that staying single means someone does not value marriage, but for him, it is the opposite. He believes marriage is something very special and meaningful. According to him, it is not something you should rush into or force. Instead, he feels it happens when the time is right.
He explained that he believes in destiny. He feels that the person he is meant to marry already exists somewhere, and when the right moment comes, they will meet. He said if marriage was meant to happen earlier in his life, it would have happened by now. This belief has helped him stay calm and patient about his personal life.
Mukesh also spoke about how he sees marriage as more than just a relationship. For him, it is a deep connection between two souls. He shared that according to spiritual beliefs, a life partner is someone connected to your past life and plays a role in shaping your journey. This makes marriage much more meaningful than just companionship.
Talking about love, Mukesh said he believes true love happens only once in a lifetime. He feels that if someone keeps falling in love again and again, it is not real love but more like attraction or temporary feelings. He also shared that saying “I love you” to multiple people takes away the true value of those words.
He also spoke strongly against the idea that having many relationships proves masculinity. According to him, a person does not need multiple affairs to show strength or confidence. He believes respect, values, and emotional understanding are far more important.
Mukesh ended by saying that he deeply respects women and his views are not against them. Instead, he believes in giving relationships the seriousness and respect they truly deserve.
