Director Matt Reeves has shared a new teaser from the upcoming film The Batman Part II, creating excitement among fans online. The teaser was posted late Thursday and gave a brief look at the film’s dark and mysterious atmosphere. It featured two monitors showing the Batmobile moving through rainy weather along with a glowing “REC” sign, hinting that filming is currently underway.
The sequel follows the success of The Batman, which released in 2022 and received praise for its serious and crime thriller style storytelling. The upcoming film is expected to continue the same noir inspired tone while taking viewers deeper into Gotham City during winter.
Principal photography for the sequel began this spring after delays caused by the 2023 Hollywood strikes. Fans had been waiting for updates on the project for a long time, and the latest teaser has now increased interest around the film.
