The trailer launch event of Welcome To The Jungle turned into a special moment for fans when Akshay Kumar opened up about working with Raveena Tandon again after many years. The much awaited comedy film brings the popular pair back together on screen, creating excitement among movie lovers who have fond memories of their hit films from the past.
The grand event was held in the city on June 11 and was attended by most of the film’s cast members. However, Raveena Tandon could not be present at the launch. Even in her absence, she became one of the most talked about topics of the event as Akshay shared a heartwarming story about her professionalism and dedication.
Speaking about Raveena, Akshay said that even after all these years, her commitment to work remains exactly the same. To explain this, he recalled an incident from the early days of their careers. According to Akshay, they were shooting a film when the sun was about to set and only a short time was left to complete an important scene. Raveena had to change her costume quickly, but the green room was located far away from the shooting spot.
Akshay revealed that completing the costume change and returning in time seemed impossible. However, Raveena found a solution. Instead of going all the way to the green room, she quickly changed inside a generator van near the set and returned in time for the shot. Akshay said he still remembers that moment because it showed how dedicated she was to her work.

The actor also spoke about how Raveena has evolved over the years. While praising her acting talent, he jokingly remarked that the biggest change in her life is that she was once a leading heroine and is now the mother of a heroine, referring to her daughter Rasha Thadani.
