Spider Man is once again proving why he remains one of the most popular superheroes among Indian audiences. The excitement around Spider Man: Brand New Day is growing rapidly, with fans eagerly tracking updates and rushing to book tickets long before the film’s release. Starring Tom Holland, the movie marks his return as Peter Parker after four years, and the response from audiences has been nothing short of impressive.

Advance ticket bookings recently opened for select Premium Large Format and 4DX screenings across India. Within just 24 hours, more than 45,000 tickets were sold, showing the huge demand for the upcoming superhero film. Fans were quick to secure seats for early screenings, making it one of the most talked about movie releases of the year.

The excitement is not limited to India. In the United States, the film has already generated strong advance sales and has reportedly recorded the biggest first day presales of any movie released in 2026 so far. This strong response highlights the popularity of the Spider Man franchise and the anticipation surrounding Tom Holland’s return.

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the story takes place four years after the events of Spider Man: No Way Home. Peter Parker is now living in a world where no one remembers who he is. As he continues fighting crime as Spider Man, he struggles with watching his old friends move on without him. According to the official synopsis, Peter undergoes a major personal change that could either destroy him or help him stop a dangerous new villain threatening the city.

The film is inspired by the popular Brand New Day comic storyline, which sees Peter starting a completely new chapter in his life. It also includes elements from The Other comic arc, which explores a darker side of the character and introduces significant changes to his abilities and mindset.

Alongside Tom Holland, the film features Zendaya as MJ and Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds. Jon Bernthal joins the cast as The Punisher, while Mark Ruffalo returns as Bruce Banner, also known as the Hulk. Sadie Sink appears in a mystery role that has sparked fan speculation, while Michael Mando returns as Scorpion and Tramell Tillman joins the cast as Bill Metzger.

Meanwhile, Sony Pictures Entertainment India has denied reports claiming the movie was censored by the CBFC, stating that the film has not yet been submitted for certification. Spider Man: Brand New Day will release in India on July 30, 2026, one day before its worldwide release on July 31.
