Olivia Rodrigo Launches Daisy Chain Fields With An All Women Lineup

Olivia Rodrigo has announced Daisy Chain Fields, a one day festival on August 29 featuring an all women lineup and supporting charities.

Olivia Rodrigo has announced a new music festival called Daisy Chain Fields, which will take place on August 29 at Great Park in Irvine, California. The one day event will feature an all women lineup and aims to combine live music, art, shopping and community activities in a festival setting.

The event will bring together several well known artists from different generations of music. The lineup includes Bikini Kill, Chappell Roan and Mitski, along with special guest appearances from Sarah McLachlan, Karen O and Stevie Nicks. According to the organizers, all participating artists have agreed to perform without making a profit from the event.

One of the key aspects of Daisy Chain Fields is its charitable focus. Organizers have stated that 100% of the net proceeds from the festival will be donated to nonprofit organizations that support women and girls. The beneficiaries include Planned Parenthood, Black Mamas Matter Alliance and the National Women’s Law Center.

Rodrigo has said that the festival was inspired by Lilith Fair, the well known music festival that celebrated female artists and performers. She described the project as her “calling,” reflecting her desire to create a space that highlights women in music while also supporting important social causes.

In addition to live performances, attendees will have access to immersive art installations, shopping areas and other interactive experiences spread across two stages. The event is designed to offer more than just concerts, giving visitors a full day of entertainment and community focused activities.

Tickets for Daisy Chain Fields are expected to start at $250. Organizers believe the combination of music, art and charitable contributions will help attract fans from different age groups and musical backgrounds.

The festival also reflects a growing trend of artists using large scale events to support social initiatives and nonprofit organizations. By directing all net proceeds to charities focused on women and girls, Daisy Chain Fields aims to raise both funds and awareness for these causes.

With an all women lineup, charitable mission and a mix of music and cultural experiences, Daisy Chain Fields is set to become one of the notable music events taking place in California on August 29.
