Prime Video has released the official trailer for Alliance, a new reality show hosted by Kunal Kemmu. Ahead of its premiere on June 26, the makers shared details about the show’s format, contestants and gameplay. The series marks Kunal Kemmu’s first project as a reality show host and is also Prime Video’s first daily reality show launched globally.
Produced by Banijay Asia, Alliance will stream in more than 240 countries and territories. The first season will run for 6 weeks and feature 42 daily episodes. A new episode will be released every day at 12 noon IST.
According to the trailer, the show begins with 16 contestants entering the competition as 8 pre formed duos. The format revolves around alliances, trust and strategy. Contestants will participate in challenges, earn advantages and make decisions that could either strengthen or break their partnerships. As the game progresses, players will have to decide when to remain loyal and when to put their own interests first.
Speaking about the concept, Kunal Kemmu revealed that the show is designed to challenge contestants from the very beginning. He said, “What is different? The difference is that we lied to our contestants. They think that since the show is named Alliance, it will be about forming alliances. However, the truth is that alliances will break from the very first day.”
Kemmu also hinted that the contestants may not have complete control over the game and would instead “dance to ‘The Systems’ tune.”
The trailer further reveals that 2 contestants will be eliminated every week, while 2 new contestants will enter the competition as replacements. Despite starting as pairs, only 1 contestant will eventually win the grand prize, making it clear that no alliance is guaranteed to last until the end.
The confirmed contestant lineup includes actor and politician Ravi Kishan with his daughter Riva Kishan, Daisy Shah and Zaid Darbar, Mini Mathur and Nikhil Chinappa, Kushal Tandon and Arsalan Goni, Niti Taylor and Ruhee Dosani, Vanshaj Singh and Dolly Javed, Sabby Suri and Payal Dhare, as well as Delbar Arya and Armaan Khera.
With its focus on strategy, shifting loyalties and changing partnerships, Alliance introduces a format where relationships can be as important as performance in challenges. The reality show will begin streaming on Prime Video from June 26 onwards, with new episodes released daily over a period of 6 weeks.
