Kangana Ranaut will appear as a special guest in the upcoming episode of Lock Upp Season 2. Ahead of the episode, the makers released a promo that shows the actress and politician confronting contestant Ram Kapoor over his behaviour inside the house. The promo has quickly caught the attention of viewers and has become one of the most talked about moments from the reality show.
In the promo, Kangana questions Ram Kapoor about the way he has been playing the game. She asks if he believes he is too important for the show and says, “Ramji, you shouldn’t have taken the game so seriously. And if you think that you are too big for this jail, then why did you come here? To show your stupidity?”
Ram Kapoor responds by defending his actions. He says, “When the time comes, I will own my truth as well as, or better than, anybody here.” Kangana appears unhappy with his response and gives him a warning. She tells him, “Don’t defend yourself if you want to improve.”
Although Kangana Ranaut hosted the first season of Lock Upp, the second season is being hosted by Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh. Even so, Kangana is returning as a special guest for an important episode of the show. She will join the hosts as part of the jury for what has been described as the first termination of the season.

Speaking about her return, Kangana said, “This show has always been about owning your truth, no matter how uncomfortable it is. Joining Farah and Riteish as the jury or the Janta Ki Awaaz this weekend for Lock Upp: Sach ya Sazaa’s very first termination, all I can say is every choice has a price!”
Earlier, producer Ektaa Kapoor had also explained why Kangana is not hosting the second season. She said, “The entire format of the show, the whole vision changed and the demographic, the kind of jailer judge format we had. Nothing of the original show has been kept. Neither the jailer nor the host, so keeping anything of the old would not bring the fresh presentation of the branding. So I am sure Kangana would have understood.”
Lock Upp Season 2 premiered in June and is currently streaming on Netflix. The reality show has been making headlines because of emotional moments, arguments, and unexpected twists inside the house.
