Cocktail 2 Box Office Slows Down After Crossing ₹80.30 Crore

Cocktail 2 has collected ₹80.30 crore at the Indian box office after two weeks, but the film has witnessed a sharp drop in collections.

Cocktail 2, starring Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna, has completed two weeks at the Indian box office with a total collection of ₹80.30 crore. While the film had a strong start after its release, its collections have slowed down significantly during the second week.

According to the reported figures, the film collected ₹16.30 crore during its second week. On Thursday alone, it earned an estimated ₹1 crore. Compared to its opening week, the movie recorded a drop of around 75 per cent in collections, showing that its box office momentum has weakened.

Trade reports also suggest that the film’s second week collections were lower than the third week earnings of Main Vaapas Aaunga. Based on the current trend, the theatrical run of Cocktail 2 is expected to slow further in the coming days.

Industry estimates suggest that the film may finish its overall run in India with collections between ₹85 crore and ₹90 crore nett if the current trend continues. However, the final figures will depend on audience response and competition from other films currently running in theatres.

Although Cocktail 2 has earned more than films such as Pati Patni Aur Woh Do and Hai Jawaani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, some trade analysts believe that comparisons should be made carefully because different market conditions and external factors can influence box office performance. Reports also indicate that some analysts expect the film to fall short of commercial expectations, although its final box office verdict will depend on overall business and recovery.

The day wise collections reported so far are ₹12.75 crore on Day 1, ₹15.50 crore on Day 2, ₹16.25 crore on Day 3, ₹5.75 crore on Day 4, ₹5.75 crore on Day 5, ₹4.50 crore on Day 6, ₹3.50 crore on Day 7, ₹3.25 crore on Day 8, ₹4.00 crore on Day 9, ₹4.00 crore on Day 10, ₹1.35 crore on Day 11, ₹1.55 crore on Day 12, ₹1.15 crore on Day 13 and an estimated ₹1.00 crore on Day 14. This brings the film’s total collection to ₹80.30 crore after two weeks in theatres.
