Truth Behind Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan’s Divorce Finally Revealed

Farah Khan Ali says Sussanne Khan never took any alimony from Hrithik Roshan and calls the long running ₹400 crore divorce rumours completely false.

For years, rumours about Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan‘s divorce have continued to make headlines, especially claims that Sussanne received ₹400 crore as alimony after their separation. Now, Sussanne’s sister and jewellery designer Farah Khan Ali has firmly denied those reports and called them completely false. Speaking in a recent interview, Farah said there was never any such financial settlement and stressed that the former couple ended their marriage with mutual respect and understanding. She also praised both Hrithik and Sussanne for handling one of the most difficult phases of their lives with dignity despite constant public attention.

Farah shared that when Hrithik and Sussanne decided to separate, many people were shocked and there was a lot of discussion about their personal lives. She said several rumours started spreading online, including claims that Sussanne had become richer because of a huge alimony payment. According to Farah, these stories were completely untrue. She revealed that Sussanne did not take any money from Hrithik after their divorce. Farah said their family values relationships more than material things and that her mother always taught them that respect and family bonds are far more important than wealth. She added that Sussanne’s decision helped preserve the strong relationship she continues to share with Hrithik and his family, including his parents Pinkie Roshan and Rakesh Roshan. Farah also described her sister as a graceful and independent woman, saying it was unfair for people to label her a gold digger based on false reports. She also praised Hrithik, calling him a wonderful person, and said that while their marriage did not work out, there was no reason for false stories to damage their reputations.

Farah also revealed that after the divorce was finalised in 2014, she often asked Sussanne to publicly deny the rumours surrounding the alleged alimony. However, Sussanne chose to remain silent. According to Farah, Sussanne simply told her that she did not care about what people thought of her. She preferred not to respond to gossip and believed that public opinion should not affect her personal life. Farah said that this has always been their family’s approach, choosing peace over unnecessary public arguments.

Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan have known each other since childhood and got married in December 2000, shortly after the huge success of Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai.
