Evil Dead Burn Surprises With Strong Tuesday Jump At The Indian Box Office

Evil Dead Burn earned ₹3.35 crore on Day 5, taking its India total to ₹21.20 crore gross as the horror film continues its strong box office run.

Evil Dead Burn continued its impressive performance at the Indian box office on its first Tuesday. The horror film collected an estimated ₹3.35 crore on Day 5, showing a 35 per cent increase over Monday’s earnings. The rise in collections is considered a positive sign, especially after the usual drop that follows the opening weekend.

With its latest earnings, the film has collected a total of ₹21.20 crore gross in India in its first 5 days, including preview shows. The steady performance suggests that audiences are continuing to turn up for the film even during the weekdays.

According to current box office trends, Evil Dead Burn is expected to finish its first week with around ₹25 crore gross in India. Whether the film continues its strong run after that will largely depend on how it performs once Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey arrives in theatres. Competition from a major release could affect its collections in the coming days.

Even so, the film has already shown enough momentum to move past the India lifetime collection of the previous film in the Evil Dead franchise, which earned ₹39 crore gross. If the current trend continues, Evil Dead Burn is expected to cross that figure and secure a successful run at the Indian box office. Trade watchers are now closely following whether the film can eventually reach the ₹50 crore gross milestone.

Hollywood films have generally performed well in India this year. Several releases that were not expected to become major box office successes have delivered better than expected collections. Films such as Project Hail Mary, The Mummy directed by Lee Cronin, Obsession, The Devil Weds Prada 2 and Michael have all performed well in theatres. However, Toy Story 5 and Supergirl were unable to maintain the same momentum, while Moana also had a slower than expected start.

The day wise India box office collection of Evil Dead Burn is as follows:

Previews: ₹0.65 crore

Day 1: ₹3.30 crore

Day 2: ₹5.40 crore

Day 3: ₹6.00 crore

Day 4: ₹2.50 crore

Day 5: ₹3.35 crore (estimated)

Total: ₹21.20 crore gross

With a solid hold on Tuesday and growing interest from audiences, Evil Dead Burn has maintained a steady pace at the Indian box office. The next few days will determine whether the horror film can continue its strong run despite new competition.
