Hathaway attended the film’s premiere on Sunday night, where her baby bump was clearly visible. Photos and videos from the event quickly spread online. Some people questioned the appearance of the bump and suggested that it looked too perfect to be real.
Instead of ignoring the comments, Hathaway addressed the speculation herself. On Monday, she shared a video from the premiere on Instagram. Along with the video, she wrote, “Fake hair, real bump.”
The short message appeared to directly respond to the claims surrounding her pregnancy. Hathaway has previously been open about her experiences with pregnancy and motherhood, and she has continued to appear at public events during her current pregnancy.
Just hours after sharing the Instagram post, Hathaway was seen arriving at the Jimmy Kimmel Live studio in Hollywood on Monday, August 10. She wore a top and pants from Lein for the television appearance.
