Veer Pahariya is set to explore the life of a college student in the upcoming film Prem Keetanu. The makers released the first look teaser on Monday, giving viewers a glimpse into the film’s story, characters and setting. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on October 2, 2026.
The one minute 16 second teaser follows Pahariya’s character as he experiences different parts of college and hostel life. His character is shown enjoying a carefree phase filled with friendship, dating, late night hostel outings and his first experience with alcohol. The teaser appears to focus on the everyday experiences and emotions of young people during their college years.
Aparshakti Khurana also makes brief appearances in the teaser. Aafiya Sayed appears to play Pahariya’s love interest, marking her acting debut. Her character seems to be an important part of the romantic side of the story.
The makers shared the teaser on social media along with the caption, “Dosti ke kisse ho ya pyaar ke lafde… life inke bina adhoori hai.Releasing in cinemas on 2nd October, 2026,”
Prem Keetanu is directed by Apoorv Singh Karki and produced by Gaurav Verma’s Avanika Films. Phars Films is co presenting the project. The film marks the first production from Avanika Films.
Before starting his own production house, Gaurav Verma worked as an independent producer at Red Chillies. During that period, he was associated with films including Darlings, Bhakshak and Jawan.
The film also features Rakesh Bedi and Nikhil Vijay in important roles. Aafiya Sayed’s appearance in the project marks her entry into acting.
For Veer Pahariya, Prem Keetanu is one of several upcoming projects. He will also be seen in Sidhaant Sachdev’s Naam: To Live Is War.
Aparshakti Khurana, meanwhile, has another release lined up. He will play Agent G9 in Gunmaaster G9, which also stars Emraan Hashmi. The film is scheduled to arrive in theatres on November 27.
With its college setting, Prem Keetanu appears to focus on friendship, young romance and the experiences that come with hostel life. The film will now head towards its theatrical release on October 2, 2026.
