Spider Man Brand New Day has continued its strong run at the Indian box office even after entering its 4th week. The Tom Holland starrer added Rs. 2 crore to its collection on 4th Friday, taking its running India gross total to Rs. 559.75 crore. Its nett collection has reached Rs. 462.35 crore.
Including collections from 3D screenings, the film’s theatrical gross has reached Rs. 615.75 crore. The latest numbers show that the superhero film continues to attract audiences despite being in theatres for several weeks.
Spider Man Brand New Day is expected to collect around Rs. 12 to 15 crore during its 4th week. If it manages to reach that range, its overall collection could move close to Rs. 570 crore. However, crossing the Rs. 600 crore mark now appears difficult because the film will face stronger competition from Toxic starting next weekend.
Despite the competition ahead, Spider Man Brand New Day has already emerged as an All Time Blockbuster in India. Very few Hollywood films have reached a similar level of success in the country. Films such as Titanic, Avatar, The Jungle Book, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame and Avatar: The Way of Water are among the major Hollywood titles that have achieved exceptional box office results.
The Tom Holland starrer is also getting close to another major milestone in terms of audience attendance. The film could potentially reach 2 crore footfalls in India. So far, only Titanic and Avengers: Endgame have managed to reach that level.
Spider Man Brand New Day currently ranks as the third most watched Hollywood film in India, with around 1.9 crore footfalls. This makes its audience reach one of the biggest ever recorded for a Hollywood release in the country.
