Akshay Kumar’s Bhooth Bangla Continues Strong Box Office Run In Week 4

Akshay Kumar’s Bhooth Bangla continues its steady box office run and is expected to cross Rs. 160 crore in India very soon.

Bhooth Bangla continued its strong performance at the Indian box office during its fourth week. The horror comedy collected Rs. 1.35 crore on its 4th Tuesday, showing a 10 per cent drop from Friday but also recording around a 20 per cent jump compared to its Monday collection. With this, the film’s total for the fourth week reached Rs. 10.45 crore in 5 days.

Directed by Priyadarshan, the film is now expected to close its fourth week at around Rs. 12 crore. This would push its total theatrical collection close to Rs. 155 crore in India. Based on current trends, the film is likely to cross the Rs. 160 crore mark soon and could finish its lifetime run around Rs. 165 crore nett.

At the moment, surpassing Housefull 5 and its reported Rs. 168 crore total appears difficult, but the film has already emerged as one of the stronger Hindi box office performers of the year.

The success of Bhooth Bangla is also important for Akshay Kumar, who has faced a difficult period at the box office in recent years after the pandemic. While some of his films last year managed decent collections, none became major hits. With Bhooth Bangla, the actor has finally delivered a clear commercial success.

Akshay Kumar is known for maintaining a high number of film releases every year, which has often helped the Hindi film industry sustain regular box office activity. Compared to many actors who now release films less frequently, Akshay continues to work on multiple projects each year. Along with Ajay Devgn, he remains one of the few major stars consistently bringing several films to theatres.

The box office collections for Bhooth Bangla in India are as follows:

Week One: Rs. 80.25 crore
Week Two: Rs. 40.75 crore
Week Three: Rs. 21.00 crore

4th Friday: Rs. 1.50 crore
4th Saturday: Rs. 2.75 crore
4th Sunday: Rs. 3.75 crore
4th Monday: Rs. 1.10 crore
4th Tuesday: Rs. 1.35 crore (est.)

Total: Rs. 152.45 crore
