Bhooth Bangla continued its steady run at the box office by collecting around Rs. 5.25 crore nett on Thursday. This was about 10 per cent lower than its Wednesday numbers, which is a normal trend as weekday collections often slow down slightly.
With this, the film has completed its first week with a total collection of about Rs. 80.50 crore nett. This performance is considered strong, especially when compared to Jolly LLB 3, which had earned around Rs. 71 crore nett in its first week last year. Both films had a similar start on Friday and Saturday, but Bhooth Bangla moved ahead as the days progressed.
The film showed better growth on Sunday, collecting around 10 per cent more than Jolly LLB 3. This gap increased further during the weekdays, reaching about 15 per cent on Monday, 25 per cent on Wednesday, and nearly 30 per cent by Thursday. This indicates that Bhooth Bangla has been able to maintain audience interest more consistently.
Based on its current performance, the film is now very close to being declared a hit. The next important step is how it performs on its second Friday. If it manages to collect more than Rs. 5 crore nett on that day, it is likely to continue its strong run and reach a total collection of over Rs. 140 crore nett. If the film holds well in the coming days, it could even aim for a lifetime collection of around Rs. 150 crore nett.
