Bhooth Bangla Keeps Strong Hold At Box Office In Week Two

Bhooth Bangla stays steady at the box office with strong second week numbers, crossing Rs. 112 crore and heading toward a successful Rs. 150 crore lifetime run.

Bhooth Bangla collected Rs. 3.50 crore nett approx on its 2nd Monday. This shows a drop of 36 per cent from 2nd Friday and 43 per cent from its 1st Monday. Even with these drops, the film is holding well, which is a positive sign. So far, the film has remained steady without sharp falls in collections.

After eleven days, the total collection stands at Rs. 112.25 crore nett approx. Out of this, Rs. 31.75 crore nett approx has come from the first four days of the second week. Based on current trends, the full second week is expected to close at around Rs. 42 crore nett.

The film had already been declared a HIT on Friday, and since then it has only strengthened its position. Growth over the weekend and a stable Monday have helped maintain momentum. It is now the third HIT film of the year for the Hindi film industry after Border 2 and Dhurandhar 2.

This film is also important for Akshay Kumar. It marks his first HIT since OMG 2 in 2023 and his first non franchise HIT since Good Newwz in 2019. In recent years, he has faced a difficult time at the box office, with several films not performing as expected. Last year showed some improvement, but none of the films reached HIT status. Bhooth Bangla changes that.

Looking ahead, the film is expected to cross Rs. 120 crore nett by the end of two weeks. In the third week, two new films will release, but Bhooth Bangla is likely to remain stable. However, Raja Shivaji, a Marathi film, could offer some competition in Maharashtra.

If the current trend continues, the film should reach around Rs. 150 crore nett in its lifetime. With steady collections, even Rs. 160 crore nett is possible.

The box office performance shows that consistent releases from major actors still play an important role in keeping the industry active.
