Bhooth Bangla continued to perform steadily at the Indian box office even in its sixth week. The horror comedy collected Rs. 2.60 crore during its sixth weekend, showing only a 25 per cent drop compared to the previous weekend. With this, the total India nett collection of the film has now reached Rs. 162.60 crore.
Directed by Priyadarshan, the movie is now nearing the final stage of its theatrical run. Trade estimates suggest the film may collect around Rs. 4.50 crore by the end of the current week. If that happens, the total collection could touch the Rs. 165 crore mark in India.
The film also has a chance of crossing the lifetime collection of Housefull 5, which reportedly earned Rs. 168 crore nett at the Indian box office. If Bhooth Bangla maintains its current pace, it may achieve that milestone before completing its theatrical run.
For Akshay Kumar, the film’s success comes at an important time. In the years after the pandemic, several of his films struggled at the box office. However, with a few successful releases last year and now Bhooth Bangla emerging as a Clean Hit, the actor appears to have regained momentum at the ticket window.
Industry observers often point out that Akshay Kumar remains one of the few major stars who releases multiple films regularly. According to trade experts, this consistency helps theatres and the box office business because audiences get frequent big star releases throughout the year. Comparisons are often made with actors like Ajay Devgn, who also maintains a steady release pattern, while many other stars now take longer gaps between projects.
The box office collections for Bhooth Bangla in India are as follows:
Week One: Rs. 80.25 crore
Week Two: Rs. 40.75 crore
Week Three: Rs. 21.00 crore
Week Four: Rs. 12.00 crore
Week Five: Rs. 6.00 crore
6th Friday: Rs. 0.45 crore
6th Saturday: Rs. 0.90 crore

Total Collection: Rs. 162.60 crore
