Mirai Box Office Collection Day 3: Teja Sajja’s Film Inches Closer to ₹100 Crore

Teja Sajja's Mirai OUTPERFORMS Expectations, Joins the Ranks of Prabhas and Allu Arjun with its Impressive Box Office Collection!

After the blockbuster hit HanuMan, Teja Sajja is back on the big screen with the high-concept action-fantasy Mirai. Directed and written by Karthik Gattamneni, the film combines mythology with science fiction and is creating tremendous buzz both domestically in India and abroad.

A Futuristic Twist to a Mythical Universe

In Mirai, Teja Sajja features as Vedha Prajapati, a warrior who protects nine holy scriptures of Emperor Ashoka—ancient writings believed to have the power to transform mortals into immortals. The tranquility of these writings is in danger from a brutal gang called Black Sword, headed by the violent Mahabir Lama (played by Manchu Manoj). The supporting cast includes Ritika Nayak, Shriya Saran, Jayaram, and Jagapathi Babu, lending gravity to the story.

Box Office Report: A Promising Beginning

Mirai has hit the screens in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam and has received a good response at the box office. The film raked in ₹3.4 crore on Sunday (Day 3), taking its opening weekend collection to approximately ₹7 crore, reports Sacnilk. Trade analyst Ramesh Bala put a 3-day total of ₹10 crore, praising Teja Sajja as one of the few Telugu actors—Prabhas, Allu Arjun, Ram Charan, and Jr NTR being the other names—to go past this figure in early years of their careers.

Hanuman comparisons and Hindi market performance

Irrespective of the powerful word of mouth, Mirai is pitted against HanuMan, particularly with its Day 3 Hindi total (₹6 crore) being approximately half of what HanuMan raked in. With Monday not being a holiday, there should be a minor fall-off, though the movie is sneaking up towards the ₹12 crore mark in the Hindi belt.
