The trailer of Agni featuring Divyenndu and Pratik Gandhi is released and yet shows a heart-wrenching glimpse into a thriller which celebrates the bravery and sacrifice of Indian firefighters. Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Rahul Dholakia, known for Shah Rukh Khan in Raees, the film is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on December 6.
The intriguing trailer introduces Pratik Gandhi as Vithal, a firefighter who fights the battle of a low-income, high-risk job, and Divyenndu as Samit, his dynamite brother-in-law and a fiery cop. The two, even with their differences, together unravel the mystery of a string of fires. The trailer was shared by Excel Entertainment’s producer Farhan Akhtar, accompanied by the post: “Courage, honour, and sacrifice, that’s how heroes are made. #AgniTrailer out now.”

Fans have expressed excitement over the film’s unique focus on Indian firefighters. One viewer commented, “Finally there is something about our Indian firefighters. We’ve seen shows like Chicago Fire, 911, Station 19, but now we’ll witness the story and hard work of our own heroes.” Another remarked, “Deserves a theatre release.”
The story of Agni promises a poignant journey of loyalty, courage, and human endurance. A very potent line from the trailer, delivered by Pratik Gandhi, resonates deeply: “Jo jwala mein marta hai wo amar ho jata hai” (One who dies in fire, becomes immortal). Speaking about the film, Pratik shared, “Agni is not just a film; it’s a tribute to the courage of firefighters the unsung heroes of our society. Delving into their challenges has been an honor, and I can’t wait for audiences to experience this story of human resilience.”
Mirzapur star Divyenndu spoke about his role, which he called a ‘career-changing’ act. “Agni is something I’ll cherish because it’s a meaningful project that allowed me to ride emotions to the core and hope audiences connect with it across the world.
The stellar cast, which includes Saiyami Kher, Sai Tamhankar, Jitendra Joshi, Udit Arora, and Kabir Shah, adds to the excellence that the film will offer. Agni which promises to be an emotional tribute to the indomitable spirit of firefighters and a gripping thriller worth waiting for.
