In celebration of this joyous occasion, a beautiful baby shower was hosted by Sonam Kapoor and her sister Rhea Kapoor at their father Anil Kapoor’s residence in Mumbai.
The event was an intimate gathering with Masaba’s close friends, family, and, of course, her mother, veteran actress Neena Gupta. Masaba looked radiant in a light brown gown, matching the overall color theme of the event, where guests donned shades of brown, beige, and cream. The party decor featured elegant golden balloons, white flowers, and lush greenery, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
One of the highlights of the event was a playful speech given by Neena Gupta, where she humorously commented on the fashion choices of some of Masaba’s friends and Satyadeep, who enjoyed the lighthearted banter. The occasion was filled with laughter, love, and many memorable moments, which were shared by guests on social media.
Resharing a picture with Sonam and Rhea, Masaba expressed her gratitude, calling them the “Best hosts ever.” The couple, who tied the knot in January last year, are now preparing for their next big chapter as parents. In her April announcement, Masaba expressed her excitement, writing, “In other news – two little feet are on their way to us! Please send love, blessings and banana chips (plain salted ONLY)… baby on board… mom and dad.”
Neena Gupta also shared the excitement of becoming a grandmother, expressing her joy in a heartfelt Instagram post, saying, “Humare bacchon ka baccha aane Wala hai. Isse zyada Khushi ki baat Kya ho sakti hai” (My children are about to have a child. What could be a happier news?).
