It was a cute Diwali x Halloween for actor Priyanka Chopra and singer Nick Jonas this Thursday with daughter Malti Marie. The family then celebrated both Indian and American traditions for the twin festivals while being in London these days. Although Priyanka shared many pictures on Instagram from their celebrations, it was Malti’s little face that made the rounds. Priyanka shared images from their London house all decorated for Diwali and Halloween.
The post was captioned as, “Just the way it gets Diwaloween.” In one, she wore a lacy red saree and Nick sported an ivory kurta pyjama. Even Malti wore a red suit to match her, but the little one’s face was bizarrely covered by a heart emoji. One more image had Priyanka holding Malti in her arms as she lit the golden sparklers. In the image, for the second time, Malti’s face has been blurred.
Priyanka’s fans felt that the change was strange, given that the actor has posted pictures of Malti where her face was visible. Even when they travel to India she never hides her daughter.
Another person wrote, “Why isn’t she hiding her face still?” “Why blur Malti’s face now?” Another asked, “You always put her out.” “Why hide Malti’s face again? By the way, dig the matching red dress,” requested a supporter, alluding to Nick’s hit track Red Dress❤️. One fan wrote: “Why are you hiding Malti’s face Priyanka ♥️ We all have seen her and we love her Happy Diwali.” PC has the option to either not show Malti’s face at all, a fan wrote. “Happy Diwali, and Priyanka as MM mom has right to show face or not show her face—please stop creepy questions, people.”

Malti’s face was first revealed by Priyanka on Instagram in February 2023. She was born in January 2022. In January 2023, Malti made her public debut at the Jonas Brother’s Walk of Fame ceremony.
