The couple hosted a wedding reception party for their friends from the industry, attended by numerous Bollywood celebrities such as Kajol, Vidya Balan, Arbaaz Khan, Rekha, Huma Qureshi, Saqib Saleem, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Sharmin Segal, Ramesh Taurani, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Aditi Rao Hydari, among others.
Sonakshi’s reception look particularly drew attention as she wore a beautiful traditional red saree, reminiscent of Anushka Sharma’s reception look. Sonakshi styled her hair in a tight bun and flaunted her sindoor, much like Anushka did for her reception with Virat Kohli. This striking similarity led many to believe that Sonakshi might have taken inspiration from Anushka’s iconic look.
Zaheer, on the other hand, looked dapper in a white sherwani, complementing Sonakshi’s traditional attire. The couple’s parents also posed for the paparazzi during the reception, adding to the festive atmosphere.
