Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, along with family members Neetu Kapoor, Mahesh Bhatt, and Soni Razdan, stepped out to celebrate Soni’s birthday at a restaurant in Mumbai. Joining them were Pooja Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt, making it a warm family gathering. The evening had its share of heartfelt moments, including Ranbir planting a kiss on *Mahesh Bhatt’s head as they shared a brief conversation before posing for the paparazzi. However, as Ranbir and Alia headed to their car, Ranbir got visibly frustrated with the paparazzi crowding their space and pulled a paparazzo away from his car, asking, “Kya karrahe ho aap log?”* (What are you guys doing?).
The family coordinated their outfits, with Ranbir and Neetu dressed in white T-shirts, matching pants, and green beanies. Alia wore a chic pink and black outfit, while Shaheen, Pooja, and Mahesh all sported black ensembles.

Earlier in the day, Alia and Shaheen shared heartfelt birthday wishes for Soni on Instagram. Alia posted sweet photos with her mom, calling her the “centre of our universe” in a loving caption, to which Soni responded, *“It takes a centre to know a centre, and you both are mine and always have been.” Shaheen also posted a fun tribute, describing Soni as her “vacation buddy” and *“maker of the best scrambled eggs on earth.”
On the work front, Ranbir and Alia are set to star alongside Vicky Kaushal in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming project, Love And War, releasing in March 2026. Ranbir will also portray a role in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, featuring Sai Pallavi and others. Meanwhile, Alia has another major project, Alpha, directed by Shiv Rawail, set in a spy universe and co-starring Sharvari Wagh, slated for a December 2025 release.
