A case was filed against the actor under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance (NDPS) act in October last year for attempting to buy cocaine in 2001. However, Fardeen’s application under Section 64 (A) of the NDPS act was accepted by the court and the charges framed against him have been dropped.
