Yesterday at Vinod Khanna’s funeral there were hardly any young actors spotted. This fact miffed actor Rishi Kapoor so much so that he took to a micro-blogging site and in a series of posts thrashed the younger generation of actors for not being able to show their respects for such a veteran actor.
Kapoor also stated that Vinod had worked recently in films like DILWALE among others and has worked with the young actors as well but none of them were present at his funeral which is according to him such a shameful deed.
He also mentioned that he met so many people at Priyanka Chopra’s party few days back but so few people turned up for Vinod’s funeral!

Shameful. Not ONE actor of this generation attended Vinod Khanna's funeral. And that too he has worked with them. Must learn to respect.
When someone questioned Kapoor about the absence of his son Ranbir and wife Neetu he replied:
Yes it has been expressed earlier on social media my wife and Ranbir are out of the country. Would never had been reason not to be there
Well the actor does have a valid point here. When you can join a person in his happiness then why can’t you be a part of his sorrows? And can’t these young stars spare few minutes to pay their respects to one of the iconic stars of Bollywood?
Now we wonder what these young stars have to say about their absence from Vinod Khanna’s funeral.
