Unlike Sonakshi Sinha, Ileana D'Cruz doesn't have to worry anymore about two of her films releasing on the same day or arriving on back to back weeks. Her HAPPY ENDING has been moved ahead, which means the deck is clear for MAIN TERA HERO to arrive solo.
At the start of the year, it had seemed like a tough situation for Ileana as HAPPY ENDING [28th March] and MAIN TERA HERO [4th April] were too close to each other. It just seemed that she would get into the kind of situation that Sonakshi had faced last year when her BULLETT RAJA and R… RAJKUMAR arrived in consecutive weeks. For Ileana, it was quite important that there was a gap between her two films since her PHATA POSTER NIKHLA HERO hadn't done well and a better spacing out would have meant greater visibility on a continuous basis.
However with Saif Ali Khan starrer opting for a later arrival, Ileana can concentrate entirely on MAIN TERA HERO, the promo of which has already been unveiled. There is no such respite for Sonakshi though as the deadlock for her two films – HOLIDAY and ACTION JACKSON – hasn't shifted with makers of both continuing to stick to 6th June.
Meanwhile Eros, which had earlier booked HAPPY ENDING for 28th March, is now using the same slot for bringing Harman Baweja's comeback film DISHKIYAOON.
As for HAPPY ENDING, one waits to see when it arrives now since Saif already has two major releases – Sajid Khan's HUMSHAKALS and Kabir Khan's PHANTOM – arriving in June and October respectively.
