The India Story highlights the issue of food adulteration, exploring concerns about food safety and public health ahead of its release on 24th July 2026.

The makers of The India Story have released a new promo, offering a glimpse into a film that focuses on the issue of food adulteration and its impact on public health. Presented by Zee Studios in association with MIG Production & Studios, the film is scheduled to release in theatres on 24th July 2026.

Starring Kajal Aggarwal and Shreyas Talpade, the movie examines concerns surrounding the quality and safety of food consumed by millions of people every day. The promo highlights how various food products, including vegetables, fruits, dairy items and household staples, can sometimes be affected by harmful substances or unsafe practices before reaching consumers.

Through its narrative, the film draws attention to the possible health risks linked to food adulteration. These concerns range from short term illnesses to more serious long term health complications. The promo presents the issue through dramatic visuals and storytelling, aiming to encourage discussion about food safety and consumer awareness.

Rather than focusing solely on individual cases, The India Story looks at the broader impact of the problem on society. The film raises questions about how food is produced, processed and supplied, while also examining the systems and practices that can contribute to these concerns. By doing so, it seeks to bring attention to an issue that affects households across the country.

Kajal Aggarwal and Shreyas Talpade lead the cast, portraying characters involved in uncovering and understanding the challenges linked to food adulteration. The film combines elements of drama and social commentary to explore the topic in a way that is accessible to a wide audience.

The project is supported by co producers Swati Vinayak Saindane, Anita Jadhav, Vinayak Saidani, Kalpesh Shah, Devyani Khorate and Prem Joshi. The technical team includes cinematographer Nishant Bhagwat, music composer Mangesh Dhakde, editor Ashish Mhatre, lyricist Shakeel Azami and sound designer Anmol Bhave.

Set for release in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil, The India Story aims to present a socially relevant subject through cinema. The newly released promo suggests that the film will focus on raising awareness about food safety while exploring the challenges faced by consumers in an increasingly complex food supply system.

A Zee Studios worldwide release, The India Story will arrive in theatres on 24th July 2026.
