As a gesture of courtesy, his girlfriend Kate Cassidy, who was with him when he died, was in attendance; so was his former partner, the mother of their 7-year-old son, Bear, Cheryl Cole.

Liam Payne was found dead after a horrific fall from a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Official autopsy reports revealed alcohol, cocaine, and prescription antidepressants in his system. The case is still under investigation since there are reports that three individuals have been arrested over the incident.

Liam gained global fame as a member of One Direction, formed on The X Factor in 2010. The group skyrocketed to fame, achieving record-breaking success and a massive international fanbase before announcing an “indefinite hiatus” in 2016.
