As was expected the new releases of this week, Ashu Trikha‘s Mithun-Ranjeeta starrer, ZINDAGI TERE NAAM and Marukh Mirza’s SAY YES TO LOVE as also ANJUNAA BEACH, failed to find any takers whatsoever.
In fact collections remained horribly low with around 10 percent and in some cases even less than 5 percent! It’s needless to talk about the fate of the new releases as they will fail to even cross a week in the theaters, especially with the kind of reviews and word of mouth that they are carrying.

Once again on quite predicted lines, the Vidya Balan starrer, KAHAANI, remained the favourite tale of the cinegoers even on the second Friday. The Sujoy Ghosh directed KAHAANI has netted a creditable 22-23 crore (to be validated) in the first week itself, and seeing the way the second Friday has opened the film is on the way to a super hit status.

Not surprisingly the two week old PAAN SINGH TOMAR and the Riteish–Genelia starrer TERE NAAL LOVE HO GAYA too managed to find some patronage as opposed to the above mentioned new releases.
