Ramayana Actor Adinath Kothare And Urmilla Kothare Announce Mutual Separation

Adinath Kothare and Urmilla Kothare have announced their separation after 15 years of marriage and said they will continue to co parent their daughter.

Actor Adinath Kothare, who will soon be seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, has announced his separation from his wife Urmilla Kothare. On Thursday, the couple shared a joint statement confirming that they have mutually decided to end their marriage after 15 years together. They also said they will continue to co parent their daughter, Jizah, and requested privacy during this time.

In their statement, the couple explained that the decision was made after careful thought and mutual understanding. They wrote, “To our friends, media, and well-wishers, after much thought and consideration, Urmilla Kanetkar and I, Addinath M. Kothare, have mutually and amicably decided to part ways as partners. While our journey as a couple has ended, our commitment to our daughter, Jizah, remains absolute. She is our utmost priority. We are happily and dedicatedly co-parenting her to ensure she grows up surrounded by love, security, and support.”

The couple also requested everyone to respect their privacy and made it clear that they would not be sharing any more comments on the matter. The statement further read, “In this spirit, we kindly request our friends in the media and the public to respect our privacy. This will be our only statement on this matter, and we will not be commenting further. Thank you for your continued warmth and understanding.”

After posting the statement on social media, Adinath Kothare turned off the comments section, preventing public responses to the announcement.

On the professional front, Adinath Kothare is preparing for the release of Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari. According to reports, he will play the role of Bharat in the film. The cast also includes Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash, Sunny Deol, and Ravi Dubey in key roles.

Ramayana is planned as a 2 part film series. The first instalment is scheduled to release in theatres this November, while the second part is expected to arrive in 2027.

For now, Adinath Kothare and Urmilla Kothare have confirmed that although their marriage has come to an end, they remain committed to raising their daughter together and have asked for privacy as they move forward.
