Sonakshi Sinha’s brother Luv Sinha wouldn’t want to be linked with Zaheer Iqbal’s family

Luv, who appeared in the movie ‘Gadar 2’, took to social media platform X to explain his reasons. He posted a news article and emphasized that he prioritized his family, disapproving of his sister’s marriage due to allegations involving Zaheer’s family. Luv mentioned specific concerns about the groom’s father’s connections and past activities, hinting at dubious associations and controversies.

In his post, Luv criticized the curated narratives around Zaheer’s family and praised a media member for their investigative reporting, which he felt aligned with his reasons for not attending the wedding. This public statement clarifies his stance and addresses the speculation surrounding his absence from the family event.

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal exchanged vows in a civil ceremony on June 23, followed by a reception at Bastian, a popular venue in Mumbai. The couple had been in a relationship for seven years before tying the knot. Zaheer starred opposite Sonakshi in the 2022 movie ‘Double XL’. Their wedding was a significant event attended by many from the film industry, although Sonakshi’s brothers, Luv and Kush, were notably absent.
