Tanya Mittal has started shooting for her first television show with Balaji Telefilms. The former Bigg Boss 19 contestant shared the update with fans through a video on Instagram. Tanya had earlier received an acting offer from producer Ekta Kapoor during her time inside the reality show house.
In the video shared from her vanity van, Tanya spoke about starting work on the new project. She said, “Finally, the shoot of my first show with Balaji and Hoonur has started, and I’m very happy. It feels very special. I’m very excited for all the fans because it’s their dream as well. I’ve only put in a little effort; they’ve worked much harder for me. So, congratulations everyone! We have officially started the shoot of our first show.”
Tanya also shared a long note in the caption of her post. She wrote, “With a heart full of gratitude… Congratulations to my entire Tanya Ka Parivaar we have officially begun the shoot of our very first show with Balaji Telefilms. This moment is not just mine… it belongs to all of you who believed, waited, and stood by me. A special thank you to @ektarkapoor ma’am for this opportunity. This was never just my dream — it was a shared hope of our entire family. I promise to give my heart and soul to this journey and make you all proud. Grateful. Humbled. Just getting started.”
For those unaware, Ekta Kapoor had offered acting opportunities to Tanya Mittal and singer Amaal Mallik while they were contestants on Bigg Boss 19. After the reality show ended in February, Tanya visited Ekta Kapoor at her Mumbai residence. During their meeting, Ekta confirmed that they would soon work together on a project.
Ekta also told Tanya that she already had a “written offer” prepared for her and added that she sees a bright future ahead for the reality show contestant. She further mentioned that this project would mark the start of a long professional association between them.
The announcement has created excitement among Tanya’s fans, many of whom have been following her journey since her appearance on Bigg Boss 19.
