The makers of Train have released the first official teaser of the upcoming thriller directed by Mysskin. Released on Sunday, the 43 second teaser gives viewers a glimpse of an intense story set almost entirely on a moving train. Starring Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role, the film appears to focus on suspense, action and survival as a dangerous situation unfolds onboard.
The teaser opens with a train speeding along its route before revealing that a group of armed men has taken control of it. The passengers are trapped inside with no way to escape, and the train continues moving without stopping at any of its scheduled stations. As fear spreads among the passengers, Vijay Sethupathi’s character steps forward to confront the hijackers on his own.
While the teaser reveals the basic setup, it keeps the main story under wraps. Along with Vijay Sethupathi, the film features an ensemble cast that includes Nasser, Shruti Haasan, Yugi Sethu, Narain, KS Ravikumar, Sampath Raj, Kalaiyarasan, Ira Dayanand and Preethy Karan. The cast brings together experienced performers and fresh faces, adding to the anticipation surrounding the project.
Mysskin has not only directed the film but has also composed its music. The cinematography has been handled by Fowzia Fathima, whose visuals in the teaser highlight the narrow spaces inside the moving train and add to the feeling of tension.
