However, this is still in the planning stages as they are waiting to see how ‘Alpha’, the film introducing Alia Bhatt and Sharvari to the Spy Universe, performs at the box office, an insider revealed.
The other project up for discussion is the much-anticipated ‘Dhoom 4′. While Ranbir Kapoor has already been confirmed to play the villain, Aditya has suggested that Vicky replace the role played by Abhishek Bachchan, playing the lead cop chasing a fresh villain every film. ”Dhoom’ is a legacy; being cast in such a highly coveted franchise would catapult one’s career to another level. Which of these ventures Vicky will commit to depends majorly on his availability as his schedule is full until April 2026. Vicky will be seen next in Laxman Utekar’s much-awaited ‘Chhaava’ playing Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, scheduled for release on February 14. Apart from that, he is also set to share screen space with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period drama, ‘Love and War’, where he wraps up the shoot by September end as it will see a theatrical release during Eid 2026. After that, Kaushal starts shooting for Amar Kaushik’s mythological epic ‘Mahavatar’ in late 2025, aiming for Christmas 2026 release.
