Trio of Vivek Oberoi, Ritesh Deshmukh and Aftab Shivdasani has reasons to smile. They would be seen together in GRAND MASTI now which is being slated for arrival this August.

”Shooting for the film has been wrapped up and now reverse counting has begun. An appropriate date would soon be blocked and announced. However the release would indeed take place in a few weeks from now,” informs a source.
The film is a sequel to Indra Kumar’s surprise success MASTI which was a sex comedy. Apparently the fun element has been made further ‘grand’ even as the jokes stay on to be below the belt for this film which has repeated the male leads but changed all leading ladies.

”That is the way it is with sequels in any case,” says a source attached to the film, ”We now have seven new girls in the film – Manjari Phadnis, Karishma Tanna, Sonali Kulkarni, Bruna Abdullah, Maryam Zakaria, Kainaat Arora and Chandi Perera. It is a much prettier outing.”
One waits to see though the date that the film chooses for itself this August since there are biggies like ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAAI AGAIN, CHENNAI EXPRESS, SATYAGRAHA, KAANCHI… and MADRAS CAFE already slated for release. However as and when the plan is revealed, one thing is for sure that the film’s first look is as ‘dhamakedaar’ as it gets.
”It is far naughtier than MASTI,” says an insider, ”The very core of it i.e. it being a sex comedy has been upgraded by many notches. Be ready to be shocked. It is as unabashed and uninhibited as it gets.”
