After the blockbuster success of KGF: Chapter 2, Kannada superstar Yash took a well-earned break from the spotlight. Now, he’s back — and gearing up for another explosive cinematic outing with Toxic, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Geetu Mohandas.
A behind-the-scenes video from the film’s set recently went viral, igniting excitement across social media. In the short clip, Yash is seen shirtless on a balcony, casually smoking and oozing effortless swagger — the kind that made him a national phenomenon as Rocky Bhai. Fans were quick to react online. “Just look at the swag!” one user wrote, while another gushed, “Rocky Bhai swag sabse alag hai.” A third fan echoed the sentiment: “OMG! Toxic leak video… Yash is looking damn too good!”
Toxic features a powerful ensemble cast alongside Yash, including Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, Akshay Oberoi, and Sudev Nair. Kiara has reportedly completed her portions, with other stars set to join the shoot soon.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, known for her gritty and grounded storytelling, Toxic is expected to showcase Yash in a fierce new avatar — a stark contrast to his KGF character, yet promising the same high-voltage charisma. The film is being shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, with dubbed versions planned in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
Slated for a grand release on March 19, 2026, coinciding with Ugadi and Eid, Toxic is already one of the most anticipated films of the year. However, it’s set for a major box office clash with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War and Indra Kumar’s Dhamaal 4. Whether the clash is averted or not, one thing is certain — Yash’s Toxic is already a cinematic storm in the making.
