Pulkit Samrat, who soon will be seen in Excel Entertainment’s FUKREY, has managed to impress Zoya Akhtar.

Zoya Akhtar was at a special screening of the film FUKREY and she was impressed by Pulkit’s performance. Apparently, the director is thinking of casting him in her next film that was supposed to star Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor.
Pulkit, apparently, is on cloud nine after getting such a response from Zoya. ”She happens to be one of his favourite directors. So he is eagerly waiting for the day when he’ll get a call from Zoya,” adds the insider.

While Pulkit couldn’t be reached for a comment, Zoya says, ”I’m just back from London. And yes, FUKREY does look promising.”
Produced by Farhan and Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment, the film also stars Manjot Singh (of OYE LUCKY! LUCKY OYE! , 2008, fame), Ali Fazal (of 3 IDIOTS, 2009, fame) and Richa Chadda (of GANGS OF WASSEYPUR, 2012, fame).
