Today in Glamsham’s AVENGERS: ENDGAME countdown series, we will talk about the real meaning behind the Marvel Anthem created by Oscar-winning composer A R Rahman. Sadly, the number which was released on April 01 (April Fool’s Day) disappointed Indians and the Internet went berserk blaming the maestro for the ‘epic’ blunder.
However, the writer, in his immense love for superheroes and ‘Taal se Taal’ milao wala A R Rahman, has found an uplifting philosophy in the lyrics written by Nirmika Singh with rap done by MC Heam. Making a humble attempt to decode the hidden meaning behind the lyrics of Marvel Anthem, which didn’t make sense to many.

Taking into consideration that no one on this earth can be bang-on what AVENGERS: ENDGAME will be? will it be the final episode, who will survive, who will be eliminated forever, who will come back? In my humble opinion the Marvel Anthem by the ‘Jai Ho’ fame of Rahman (for the Americans in 2008, much before with ‘Roja’ in 1992 for this author) cannot be taken as it is. There is something in between and beyond the obvious in the lyrics, which yours truly has tried to figure out in the interest of Marvel fans in India and Rahman in general. Sorry Internet trollers.
