An old photo of Hudson Williams has resurfaced online and is attracting significant attention. The image, which dates back to his high school years in Canada, has sparked controversy after showing a swastika drawn on his face with a Sharpie marker. As the photo circulated online, sources close to the situation shared details about the circumstances surrounding the image.
According to reports, the photo was taken during an annual high school campout event that involved partying, underage drinking and students drawing on one another’s clothing and bodies with Sharpie markers. Sources told TMZ that Hudson was among a group of teenagers participating in the event at the time the image was taken.
TMZ’s sources claim Hudson was unaware of what had been drawn on his face. According to those sources, the symbol was allegedly drawn by other intoxicated teenagers who were scribbling various images on one another as part of immature behavior meant to get laughs and shock reactions.
“We’re told Hudson had no idea what was being drawn on his face at the time, and the offensive symbol was the result of other intoxicated teens scribbling inappropriate images on one another in an attempt to get laughs and shock reactions,” the outlet reported, noting that these were kids doing “dumb things” under the influence, and that Hudson is “keenly aware” that behavior is inexcusable.
A friend of Hudson also addressed the controversy and defended his character.
“The markings do not and have never reflected Hudson‘s beliefs, values, or character.”
Sources further stated that Hudson understands why the image has upset people and recognizes the seriousness of the symbol shown in the photograph. They said he deeply regrets the incident and does not support or condone the markings that appeared on him.
The controversy comes at a time when Hudson’s public profile has been growing following his role in Heated Rivalry. The 25-year-old actor has recently been in the spotlight for both his professional achievements and personal life. He also made headlines after publicly acknowledging his longtime girlfriend, Katelyn Larson, during his appearance on stage at the 2026 Canadian Screen Awards.
At present, the discussion surrounding the resurfaced photo continues online, while those close to Hudson maintain that the image does not represent his beliefs or values.
