In Deadpool 3, a scene where Ryan Reynolds’ character, Deadpool, pays tribute to fallen Marvel heroes took an amusing turn with Garner’s response. When Deadpool offered condolences for the death of Affleck’s Daredevil, Garner’s Elektra nonchalantly replied, “Oh, it’s fine,” delivering a line that resonated with fans for its humor and underlying context.
The film, which released in the UK on July 25 and in the US on July 26, features Elektra rescuing Deadpool, Wolverine, Gambit, X-23, and others from the villainous Cassandra Nova. Elektra then reveals the grim reality that many heroes, including her former lover Daredevil, have already fallen victim to Nova’s deadly rampage.
Garner and Affleck’s off-screen romance began on the set of Daredevil, leading to their marriage in 2009 and the birth of their three children: Violet (18), Seraphina (15), and Samuel (12).
