Katie Cassidy is left devastated over Liam Payne’s death as she breaks her silence on social media following her boyfriend’s tragic passing. The 31-year-old was killed after falling from the balcony of a hotel, named Locum Hotel at least twice by various outlets. Cassidy opened up about their strong bond and shared plans to walk down the aisle next year.
Cassidy, who posted an emotional tribute on Instagram, said her “heart is shattered” without him. Payne, in a statement from her mother Kendall Sellers, said: “Heaven has another angel and Key is the love of my entire life… Her light was so bright, everyone with whom she came into contact met it.”
He remembered how they used to be together, when the simplest of joys was found with each other and how he left everyone a little richer. In a letter from Payne to Cassidy, which has been entered into evidence as well, he wrote of wanting to marry her and described, “Kate and I will be married in a year & ALWAYS AWAY.”

Cassidy added that she has a guardian angel looking over her and will always carry their memories. Argentinian officials have declared that Liam Payne’s manner of death was suicide, confirming the singer took a dive off his third-floor balcony. The news has deeply affected Cassidy’s fans, friends, and family, with many expressing heartfelt condolences for her loss.
Payne died after falling from the balcony of the Casasur Palermo hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina on October 16. A preliminary autopsy report shows he suffered multiple injuries and continued bleeding. It is believed that the head injury was severe… that resulted in death.
Liam and Kate have been dating since October 2022 and have often been spotted together. This included public appearances at events such as Wimbledon and Paris Fashion Week just days before his death.
