Nicole Kidman And Sandra Bullock Return For A New Magical Adventure in Practical Magic 2 Trailer

The new Practical Magic 2 trailer follows the Owens sisters as they battle dark magic, search for a missing daughter and confront a family curse.

The first trailer for Practical Magic 2 has been released, bringing back Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock as Gillian and Sally Owens. The sequel continues the story of the famous witch sisters as they face new challenges while trying to break a long standing family curse. The trailer opens with the sisters setting out on a new journey connected to the Owens family curse, which has affected generations of women in their family. According to the story, any partner who falls in love with an Owens woman is doomed to die, creating fear and heartbreak for those connected to the family.

During their search for answers, Gillian and Sally visit a scholar played by Lee Pace. Their aunt Jet recommends they seek his help, but when they arrive, they discover that he has been placed under a strange spell. The trailer shows that he is also dealing with a curse, and a nearby object resembling a voodoo doll appears to be connected to the situation.

Gillian quickly attempts to remove the spell and asks Sally to help. During the scene, Gillian jokes, “Well there’s always…” after Sally responds, “Easier said than done, Gillian.” Sally then reacts with surprise, saying, “Oh my God! What is wrong with you?”

The trailer later shows that the curse affecting Pace’s character is removed when dark smoke bursts from his chest. After recovering, he appears to help Sally better understand and develop her magical abilities.

At the center of the story is Sally’s daughter Kylie, played by Joey King. Kylie decides to take matters into her own hands and try to break the Owens family curse herself. However, her actions may have dangerous consequences. Sally expresses her concerns in the trailer, saying, “I’ve seen what my power can do. The idea that they [my daughters] may have the same power terrifies me.”

Another warning comes from Franny, played by Stockard Channing, who says, “This will lead her into the dark path. If you want to find her, you have to work together.”

The trailer also introduces Antonia, played by Maisie Williams, who joins the search for Kylie. One dramatic scene shows Kylie trapped inside a flaming pentagram while a mysterious cloaked figure appears to be draining her powers.

Practical Magic 2 is scheduled to arrive in theaters on September 11.
