Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan reportedly split after about a year of dating. Sources confirmed the split to PEOPLE and Page Six, saying that the couple was simply too busy with their own careers. Neither star has commented on the reports so far.
The first rumors about their relationship appeared back in December 2023 after the appearance of these two together in Los Angeles. They later confirmed their romance with public appearances and tender moments, such as Keoghan accompanying Carpenter at her Coachella performance and in the release of her “Please Please Please” music video, where he also appeared.

Despite their visibly chemical and public displays of each other’s ventures, this relationship has been described as “on and off” in past reports. And while it marks the end of a chapter that everyone talked about so much, the decision is said to be mutual, and on amicable terms.
Carpenter, 25, is no stranger to high-profile romances, having been linked in the past to Joshua Bassett and Shawn Mendes. Keoghan, 32, is also a father to a 2-year-old son, Brando, with his former partner Alyson Sandro.
