Nam Joo-hyuk, best known for his roles in Twenty-Five Twenty-One and Who Are You: School 2015, has officially been discharged from the South Korean military. Several photos and videos of the actor, dressed in his military uniform and holding a bouquet of flowers, surfaced on social media on Thursday, showing him smiling and signing autographs for fans. In one video, Joo-hyuk is seen graciously bowing and getting into his car, while fans expressed their excitement for his return.

Fans celebrated the actor’s discharge with heartfelt comments. One fan wrote, “Love has returned, he has returned, oh, how much longing,” while another playfully noted, “The flower boy welcomed by his favourite drink: iced americano.” Many are eagerly anticipating his return to K-dramas and entertainment programs.

Joo-hyuk enlisted in March 2023 as part of the military police after being accepted into the Capital Defence Command Military Police Group. After completing his five-week basic military training, he was stationed to fulfill his duties. Prior to enlisting, his agency, Management SOOP, confirmed that he had finished filming for the series Vigilante, which fans are eagerly awaiting.

Joo-hyuk made his acting debut in 2014 with The Idle Mermaid and rose to fame with his standout performance in Who Are You: School 2015. Now that his military service is complete, fans are looking forward to his return to the screen in upcoming projects.
