A day after photos of BLACKPINK’s Jennie and GOT7’s BamBam having a meal together in Los Angeles surfaced online, Jennie’s agency, OA Entertainment, released a clarification. According to latest reports, the agency stated that Jennie and BamBam “have been friends for a while” and had simply met up for a meal during Jennie’s visit to the US.
The photos, which quickly went viral on social media, showed Jennie and BamBam together at a Japanese restaurant. Following the speculation sparked by these images, Jennie also posted pictures on her Instagram, where she was seen wearing the same outfit, further fueling fan discussions. Though she didn’t provide any captions, she accompanied the post with a black heart emoji.
This interaction between Jennie and BamBam reignited interest in Jennie’s personal life. In the past, she has been linked with high-profile K-pop idols, including BIGBANG’s G-Dragon and BTS’s V (Kim Taehyung). Although there were reports of her dating G-Dragon for over a year, they reportedly broke up in 2022. More recently, rumors suggested she was dating BTS’s V, though both agencies denied the claims.
